Vertis Verdicchio di Matelica doc from Borgo Paglianetto takes its name from the Latin verb “vertere” (to turn), which we can translate as “the highest point”. Vertis in fact comes to life from the longest-lived vine of the company, of about twenty years, with southern exposure. The blend is 100% Verdicchio and the evolution of two years gives it particular character and the unmistakable notes of the Marche grape.

Straw yellow color with light greenish reflections, floral and fruit notes with hints of honey, white peach and aromatic herbs. The Verdicchio grapes are fermented in steel tanks for 8 months, thus achieving balance and a full substance. Vertis goes perfectly with first and second courses based on fish and white meats.
