Il Ruggero di Podere sul Lago is a Marche IGT Merlot, the perfect synthesis of the vision of the exclusive Marche winery that wanted to pay homage to the owners' son with the creation of a great wine. Il Ruggero has an intense ruby ​​red color with aubergine reflections and a delicate scent of violets and dark fruits.

This 100% Merlot is born in the Municipality of Serrapetrona (MC) from a sandy-clayey soil with a good percentage of limestone. After a careful manual harvesting in boxes, the harvested grapes are put to vinify in steel barrels at a controlled temperature, with soft pressing and wooden élevage.
Enoteca Compagnucci has selected the Ruggero for lovers of pure Merlot, who will be able to appreciate the harmonious taste of this bottle, from the very first sip. The recommended combinations are certainly for the whole meal: appetizers based on cured meats, aged cheeses, first and second courses based on meat, risotto with vegetables and porcini mushrooms, boiled meats but also white meats and game.
